Consultant Planning & Control
28-36 hours per week

Are you a liaison and sparring partner in the field of economics and do you enjoy translating political developments financially one minute and connecting knowledge and people the next? Then we’re looking for you.

What do you want to do?
In this dynamic position, you advise and support the management in the preparation of Planning & Control products. This means that you are the first point of contact for a number of departments and manage the budgets together with them. For example, you may be asked to analyze the development of staff costs, or you may need to find coverage for an unforeseen cost item.

It not only requires a sense of the financial side of things, but it also requires your skills as a consultant: after all, it is you who draws up the advice to support budget holders. You do this for different task fields, where the focus is on the People & Society / Social Domain policy department.

Because you are helping these departments keep track of the economy, it is important that you are aware of the national developments that may have an impact on budgets. You translate this development into possible consequences and opportunities. In addition, you perform general activities within the planning and control cycle.

Who is our ideal candidate?
You enjoy connecting economic knowledge and people. Therefore, you have good advisory skills as well as knowledge and experience in the use of injury and injury instruments. You are naturally focused on collaboration and achieving results. You are proactive in your advice and do not care: you have a sense of administrative and political matters.

You have:

  • Bachelor in Business Administration / Accounting or similar area.
  • Several years of experience as a Plan & Control consultant (or similar position), preferably within a municipality.

What do we offer?

  • Your salary depends on experience and education and is a maximum of € 5,372 gross per month (function scale 11).
  • Do you think you are suitable for this position but do not yet have the full knowledge and experience required? Scaling will then take place in job scale 10 (max. € 4,671 gross per month based on full-time employment).
  • There is also an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05%.

What does our department / team look like?
The Finance & Control department consists of 38 people. The team is characterized by being aware of each other, both personally and at work. Everyone is willing to help each other, you are allowed to make mistakes and your input will be appreciated. The team’s role is a critical sparring partner for management, budget holders and the board. We advise and support them on the broad operational management, development and implementation of policy and the responsibility for it. Implementing control is also an important part of the work. We are experts, think along and ensure that the financial basis remains in order.
