Under the motto that technology should not be uniform, Dell Technologies redesigns its devices with more power, more intelligent features, and improved security, collaboration, and performance. At the same time, these devices – the new Latitude and Precision devices – are getting smaller and thinner.
For example, the Latitude 9330 offers features for collaboration, connectivity and privacy in a 2-in-1 form factor. It is the first 13-inch device in the 9000 series and the thinnest in the Latitude portfolio with a 16:10 InfinityEdge screen – designed for the mobile employee. Sustainable product materials have been used to minimize the environmental impact.
To facilitate good conversations, the Latitude 9330 has a collaborative touchpad – the world’s first laptop according to Dell technologies – that provides quick access to mute / unmute microphone, video on / off, screen sharing and chat in Zoom meetings. When the meeting is over, the icons (no longer activated) will disappear and the entire trackpad will be restored. In addition, the device is equipped with an FHD camera with separate RGB and IR cameras and neural noise reduction.
Combined with the latest features in the Dell Optimizer, the Latitude 9330 lets you work safely anywhere. The latest Intelligent Privacy features hide information on the screen when a viewer is detected and dim the screen when the user looks away, also saving battery. Combined with the dual electromechanical SafeShutter, these features should help keep data secure.
Simultaneous multi-network connectivity allows users to connect to two networks simultaneously for faster data and video downloads. It also connects to the best available network. The Latitude 9330 runs on a 12th generation Intel Core processor and offers the latest connectivity options, including Intel Wi-Fi 6E8 and 4G LTE or 5G.
Precision 7000 series
Last month, Dell Technologies already introduced the Precision 5470 14-inch workstation. Now the company is introducing the mobile workstations in the Precision 7000 series. The devices include new thermal innovations, professional graphics, powerful CPU technologies and new designs for greater flexibility. Workstations are designed for heavy workloads – such as VR / AR, AI / ML, complex 3D CAD, creative editing software, and computer science applications.
For the first time, Dell Precision mobile workstations are available in a 16 “form factor that delivers a world-class front-of-screen experience that does not compromise on performance. Two chassis options – thin and performance – for a device for everyday applications.
Flexibility in scalability
The two chassis versions offer flexibility in scalability and configurability determined by the selected graphics card – allowing the 7670 to be tailored to performance needs, including a variety of processors and graphics, as well as expansive memory, beautiful display capabilities (including a new OLED UHD + touch panel display ) and storage options.
For more screen property, the Precision 7770 17-inch Mobile Workstation, which Dell claims offers the highest scalability in the entire portfolio and desktop performance. Both the Precision 7670 and 7770 offer Intel’s most powerful CPUs – 12th generation Intel Core up to i9 processors (55W – coming soon) with Intel vPro – up to next generation 16GB NVIDIA RTX A5500 graphics and up to 128GB DDR5 memory .
The new Precision models will also be the first workstations with a new Dell proprietary DDR5 memory form factor called the Compression Attached Memory Module (CAMM). Through CAMM, Dell enables a thinner chassis design without sacrificing performance.
