Mazdak Soltani heads the Public Affairs Team Gorillas

The former senior policy adviser in the Ministry of Finance Mazdak Soltani now with Gorillas

Appointment – Mazdak Soltani, former senior policy adviser at the Ministry of Finance, has been appointed Head of Public and Public Affairs Benelux for the speed camera provider Gorillas. From 19 April, he will be responsible for all external public affairs and relations with the community and central and local authorities.

Above all, Soltani must form an important link between translating Gorilla’s internal goals into external policy and vice versa. Flash courier drivers are regularly under fire from all sorts of political and social organizations over the remuneration of the delivery people and noise pollution in the neighborhood. Gorillas want to show that things can be done differently. For example, Gorillas works with local entrepreneurs and its employees. As the grocery industry continues to evolve, the grocery store supplier is determined to grow with it and lead by example.

Soltani comes with many years of experience from the public sector. In his last role in the Ministry of Finance, he has over the past two years implemented fiscal policy initiatives from the corona support package in collaboration with the main industry associations and other stakeholders. Sadik Cevik, General Manager Gorillas Benelux: “Since December 2020, we have seen a lot of growth at Gorillas. We have the ambition to continue our growth in the coming year, where it is important to continue the collaboration with both local stakeholders and our community. We is very excited that Mazdak Soltani will run this at Gorillas in the Netherlands. “
