Job description

What do you do as a Technical Asset Manager Logistics?

The core of the role focuses on creating a high level of tenant satisfaction through providing ownership maintenance, tenant management and budgeting. It is essential that you develop a sense of the tenants’ business, know what they need so that you can respond well to changes in the needs of the tenants. In addition, you act as a sparring partner for business control and when acquiring new assets by supervising especially the technical due diligence.

core activities

  • Owner maintenance / renovations / conversions (managing suppliers and advisers for daily (landlord) maintenance, planning, preparation, supervision of renovations / conversions, preparation of MJOPs, settlement of service costs);
  • Tenant management (keeping up to date with the (technical) condition of the assets, monitoring work performed, developing / creating win-win situations for tenant and landlord);
  • Stakeholder analysis / management (keeping track of municipal changes that affect wealth, developing contact with the municipality, following technical developments that (directly) affect the assets, developing and implementing sustainability and innovation plans in collaboration with Asset Management);
  • Budgeting & reporting (assess and report on the technical due diligence in buying and selling, preparation of cost estimates, co-preparation, updating and monitoring of asset budgets, provide input to the reporting cycle for business control).

The Technical Asset Manager acts regularly externally (internationally), makes agreements with regard to maintenance and renovation contracts and therefore has a significant responsibility in relation to reputation, legal consequences and finances.

It is you

  • Minimum completed HBO education / university work and level of thinking (prior technical construction education is a must);
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of logistics properties and experience in the real estate world is crucial;
  • Experience and affinity with technical issues (including renovations);
  • Knowledge of institutional / professional investors and investment products;
  • Experience in preparing reports (internal and external);
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages ​​(German language is an advantage);
  • Good / excellent command of Excel / PowerPoint / Word.
  • Possession of driving license (B)
