News from the committees on Tuesday, May 24, 2022

Possible participation of the Dutch state in the share issue of Air France-KLM

Third incidental supplementary budget Finance 2022 regarding share issue Air France-KLM

In response to the letter from the Ministers of Finance and Infrastructure and Water Management of 24 May 2022 concerning the Air France – KLM share issue, the Finance Committee has decided to send a committee letter with a response deadline until Friday 27 May 2022, 16.00. It also expresses the desire to hold a private, confidential (technical) briefing on Monday evening, May 30, 2022 from 6 p.m. 20.00 to 21.30 with the Minister of Finance, her officials and the State Agent on this file.

Subject to the acceptance of the accompanying supplementary draft budget by the House of Representatives on Tuesday, 31 May 2022, the Committee shall endeavor to ensure that – subject to Rule 56 of the Senate Rules of Procedure by the President of the Parliament (urgent bill) – report and plenary debate and vote on the said bill will take place.

Act on building quality assurance

Input for further written consultation is provided by the parties in the PvdA (Crone) and CDA (Rietkerk) jointly, whereby the members of the groups GroenLinks (De Boer), SP (Kox), PvdD (Nicolai) and 50PLUS (Baay) already agree on the asked questions.

State of the Environment Act

Input for further written consultation with the Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning on the entry into force of the Environment and Planning Act is given by the members of the groups of GroenLinks (Kluit), D66 (Moonen), PvdA (Fiers), SP (Janssen), ChristenUnie (Verkerk) and PvdD (Nicolai). Member Kluit (GroenLinks) states that a report on her consultation today with the Secretary General of the Ministry of the Interior and National Affairs regarding the reporting of threats via the committee registrar will be distributed to the committee members.

Report on further written consultation with the Minister of Poverty Policy, Participation and Pensions on the implementation of the Wajong Simplification Act and on the implementation of the proposal by Member Van Pareren et al. on compensation to Wajongere whose income is declining

Input for further written consultation on the implementation of the Wajong Simplification Act is currently provided by the members of the Nanninga Group (Van Pareren) and OSF (Raven).

Report in written consultation with the Minister of Finance on EU proposals for amendments to the Decree on own resources and revision of the MFF 2021-2027 Regulation; EU proposal: Decision amending the own resources decision COM (2021) 570

At the request of member Van Ballekom (VVD), it was decided today to provide input for further written consultation with the Minister of Finance in response to the reply letter from the Minister of Finance, also on behalf of Foreign Minister Forhold, dated 10 May (EK 36 019, A) . Input for further written consultation is provided by the political groups in VVD (Van Ballekom) and ChristenUnie (Ester).

European proposal on methane emissions and gas markets – Fit for 55 package

Input for written consultation is provided by the groups GroenLinks (Vendrik) and Forum for Demokrati (Dessing).

Report written consultation with the Minister for Poverty Policy, Participation and Pensions on the appointment of members of the Parameters Committee and on the duties of the Committee

Letter from the Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport of 23 May 2022 with a presentation of a draft executive order amending the expiry date of section 6ba of the Public Health Act

The factions of GroenLinks (De Boer) and PVV (Van Hattem) state that they want to provide input for written consultation. Due to the submission deadline within 2 weeks, the contribution will be submitted by email on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Report written consultation with the J&V Minister on evaluating the approach to the corona crisis and rapid scanning Modernization of state emergency legislation

Member Nicolaï (PvdD) states that he wishes to ask follow-up questions in connection with the first tranche of the revision of the Public Health Act (Wpg) and will include this in input for written consultation on 7 June 2022 on letter of 4 May 2022 on the main points first tranche revision Wpg.

First Random Supplementary Budget for Justice and Security 2022 for compliance, control and enforcement of a Corona admission ticket

The Committee on Legal Affairs and Security submits a blank final report and proposes to vote on the bill on 31 May 2022 so that spokespersons can give an explanation of vote if they so wish.

Oral consultation youth care

The Committee on Public Health, Welfare and Sport held oral consultations with State Secretary van Ooijen (VWS) and Minister Weerwind (Legal Protection) on the state of affairs in youth care and proposed government reforms.

Plenary discussion on constitutional amendments

The Committee on Home Affairs / General Affairs agrees to jointly discuss all six constitutional amendments at second reading in one debate. During the debate, the committee wishes to discuss the six constitutional amendments in chronological order so that questions and answers are not mixed up. She also asks the Minister to always address the issues per. bills during the government period.
