The HRTech company Deel introduces new functions for payroll and compliance platform

Amsterdam, 31 May 2022 – Share, the HRTech startup that facilitates all administrative and legal matters related to hiring remote staff, such as contracts and payments through its platform, introduces a new set of free features to its Global Hiring Toolkit. With the industry’s first tools, Deel aims to help companies around the world make more informed hiring decisions and improve collaboration, efficiency and cost optimization between external teams. A welcome service given the popularity among companies to recruit new employees worldwide in the current ‘remote-first’ world and war on talent.

For example, the number of companies looking for new staff across national borders has increased by more than 200% in 2021. Organizations need to adapt to this, including with regard to the correct salary payment.

Dennis Valkema, Benelux leader of Deel: “The labor market has definitely changed since the pandemic and the arrival of new generations. Finding and retaining good and qualified talent is one of the biggest challenges for companies in the coming decade. Why limit yourself to looking for talent around the corner when the world could be your search area? ”

Share aims to facilitate the hiring process for remote employees through their Global Hiring Toolkit, which consists of three parts. The Salary Insights tool is designed to help companies research and benchmark salaries to stay competitive and within the employment budget. Thanks to the database of more than 7,000 companies worldwide, Share gives customers access to market prices for more than 50 positions with varying seniority levels in more than 110 countries. It allows companies to make more informed pay decisions, both for full-time employees and freelancers.

For companies looking to recruit full-time employees, the Global Employment Comparison tool can help compare employment data across countries, including minimum wage, holidays, sec. working conditions and more. Finally, companies with Employee Cost Calculator can gain insight into all the costs associated with recruiting employees remotely, for example in terms of social security.

In addition to the Global Hiring Toolkit, Deel also introduces the ‘org chart’ for Roots, a company acquired by Deel in January 2022. The organization chart (or organization chart) is a plug-in developed for use in Slack with the aim of streamlining the workflow in a Corporation. For example, employees can tag their profiles with competencies and areas of expertise, making it easier for team members to target colleagues with specific knowledge.

Alex Bouaziz, CEO and co-founder of Share: “At Deel, we focus on continuously developing simple and user-friendly products that break through the complexity of international recruitment processes. In today’s distributed world and workplace, it’s crucial to make smarter hiring decisions, and we’re excited to help companies do just that. As an organization, we have gone from less than $ 1 million to $ 100 million in license revenue (ARR) in 20 months, underscoring the popularity of our platform to address remote recruitment issues. “

The product expansion follows a period of significant growth for Deel. In October 2021, the company announced its Series D round led by Coatue, which raised $ 425 million and valued Deel at $ 5.5 billion. With the funding, Deel wants to innovate and shape the future of teleworking, for example by adding the Take Home Salary Calculator to the toolbox in the coming weeks. The company has already opened 60 live units since launching in 2019 with the goal of reaching 80 units this year and continuing further expansions.
