As an FPC team leader, it is your mission to further optimize and digitize processes based on the organizational goals and tasks. The planning and control cycle is very important in this. You work with optimization by facilitating the team in task-oriented collaboration with colleagues inside and outside the team. You have an overview of the entire group, see connections and are open to the expertise and interests of employees inside and outside your team. It is therefore important that you also have an affinity with other business units in the province. You take this into account in the activities of the FPC team. You bring a vision in data analysis. You are also responsible for the further development of the delivery of (management) information to the group and for establishing the right relationships between different sources of information for the police teams, the provincial management, the provincial council and related parties. You know how to properly handle complex tax issues and liquidity. In your conversations with employees, team leaders, your manager and director, you demonstrate a thorough professional knowledge. As a support team, Team Finance is an important pillar in the organization to achieve the ambitions and tasks. The team consists of administrative assistants, financial advisors, controllers and specialists and has approximately 30 full-time equivalents.

What is your task The organization is in full swing: There is an organizational development process underway in Drenthe province, which means that the structure and management of the finance function in the new organization is changing and needs to be further shaped.
Since September 2021, the current interim team leader has implemented organizational changes and changes in the area of ​​cooperation in the department in order to better implement the services provided by team FPC. The current organization of the department and the mutual distribution of tasks and roles are now appropriate for the future organizational model that the province envisages. Until the new organizational model is operational (expected 1st quarter 2023), it is important that the new temporary team leader ensures that the initiated changes (both organizational and collaborative) are continued consistently and are further embedded in the daily way of working.
In addition to the above, you will of course handle the day-to-day management / services of Team FPC, you are an important discussion partner for the Minister of Finance, the State Working Group on Finance, the Board of Directors and the Executive Board.
You also have an important steering role in the project that runs around the replacement of the financial company information system.

Job requirements
As a future FPC team leader, you know how to facilitate and stimulate the team in a passionate and enthusiastic way in the tasks that are available. You know how to properly assess and weigh different interests and you have a good sense of political, administrative and official relations.

* You have completed a relevant HBO + / WO education (business economics, accounting or similar) * You have a coherent way of working and use this to further strengthen relationships inside and outside the department;

Working conditions
This is a temporary position as soon as possible for approximately 6 months. The desired commitment is 36 hours per week. We can hire you on the basis of an independent construction (hourly rate in consultation), or on the basis of posting (in paid employment at JS Consultancy, scaling according to scale 13 CAO client).
