Happeo raises € 25 million growth money in series B funding round

Amsterdam, July 7, 2022 – Happeo, the intranet platform for fast-growing companies, has raised an investment of 25 million euros. The Serie B financing round was led by Endeit Capital, later Smartfin joined as co-leader, followed by Evli Growth partners. With the financing, Happeo invests in the further development of its product and development teams. With this, the originally Finnish company wants to accelerate its growth in both Europe and North America and thereby strengthen its position as a leader in solving information chaos in the workplace.

Former investors INKEF Capital, Maki.vc and Vendep Capital also participated in the financing round. This allows Happeo to invest further in the ‘virtual headquarters’, which centralizes information and knowledge internally, thus reducing the abundance of information for employees. “Thanks to this capital injection, we can continue to build a better working environment for growing companies,” said Perttu Ojansuu, CEO and founder of Happeo. “The first goal is to strengthen our position in the European market and then scale up in North America.”

Jelle-Jan Bruinsma, Partner at Endeit Capital, says: “In this era of hybrid and remote work, Happeo’s tools are needed more than ever. Companies have an urgent need to simplify their internal communication, and we have seen companies that do this well do better in the long run. ”

Thomas Depuydt, Managing Partner at Smartfin, comments: “Happeo has a proven track record of successfully helping fast-moving companies create a better work culture for their employees. We are excited and excited to work with them on their continued growth and expansion. “

Information chaos

With the platform, users maintain an overview of all information from various SaaS tools, reducing their search time. In addition, the solution allows companies to host all their files and documents in one place. Ojansuu: “In 2021, an average company used no fewer than 110 SaaS tools, which means employees spend an unnecessary amount of time looking for the right information to do their job. In addition, the number of internally sent messages between employees increases as the company grows. It creates chaos in the information supply. With Happeo, important updates are no longer shared in separate communication applications, but in a central location. This makes it easy for employees to find them and use the messaging tools to collaborate again. “
