How an unsuspecting conversation on the plane to Lisbon led to a multimillion-dollar business with a broad European footprint.
Within four years, the office space went from 50 to 1000 m2 in the center of Amsterdam, and the founders Sophie van der Schaft and Britt Hogenhuis saw that turnover increased by six in less than a year and a half. International applications also increased by 300% in the last two years, marking the first step towards international expansion. Sophie and Britt plan to open new offices in Belgium and Germany within a year. And today they celebrate the launch of the & .media group, which includes their three existing successful companies & .agency, & .talent and & .format.

April 2018 – & .agency was launched in 2018 as an influencer marketing & branded content agency. From the start, the brand has been able to count large advertisers like Opel and L’Oréal among its regular clientele, and the agency quickly expanded with accounts like Puma, G-Star and Amazon. Later, they introduced a separate PR & events branch to meet the growing demand for earned media. Thanks to its wide range and knowledge in strategy & data, influencers, content, PR and media, & .agency offers a complete picture.
January 2020 – Two years after launch, & .talent was added, a talent management agency with a wide network of influencers including Rose Bertram, Josylvio, Sophie Milzink and Jaimie Vaes. In addition to linking talent to beautiful brands and media titles, the brand also starts brand new brands and BVs with influencers. These so-called Dream Big Projects resulted in, among other things, HUNTU The Label. A sustainable beachwear line where the influencer Channah Koerten is the face. From writing business plan, logo & product design, brand style book, financial and supply chain management. Everything is picked up and performed internally.
November 2021 – The creative mind goes where it cannot. In a market where the demand for content has risen to new heights, among other things due to the advent of many SVOD services, the founders of & .agency and & .talent have created the application development and production branch & .format. Following successful formats such as “HELP! – a young generation’s invisible battle” and “De Koertjes naar Curaçao” for Videoland, the team develops leading reality, documentary and human interest programs. others know where the target audience is and what occupies them.
July 2022 – In order to continue to offer unity in times of rapid growth, & .media group Holding BV was established for connection and further professionalisation. The group comprises the three units that operate completely independently of each other, but can reinforce each other where possible.
