What we expect from you
You have an affinity with (new) technologies, current affairs in the field of security and military operations. Content knowledge of the current conflict is considered a plus. Other skills we are looking for are the ability to independently do source research and analytical thinking. In addition, good command of the Dutch language is a must.
The intended internship period is 4 to 5 months. The obligation is 20 hours a week. The intended start date is January 16, 2023. Both the deployment and the exact start date will be determined in consultation. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, September 2, 2022.

What does the process look like?

For this vacant internship, it is necessary for the AIVD to issue a Declaration of No Objection (VGB) after conducting a safety investigation. In any case, you need to take into account an average duration of 8 weeks. Due to Covid-19 and the consequent uncertainty and restrictions, students who do not live in the Netherlands may not be able to start an internship or examination position at TNO at the moment.
