Working at TNO means contributing to research and innovative applications that matter. For the energy transition, applications of safe AI in healthcare, the future of digital identity, but also our security.
As solution architect IAM, your challenge is to keep Identity Access Management manageable for TNO. And this in an increasingly complex society. In an international organization with more than 3000 employees working in different locations, sometimes in different countries.
Read here an interview with Teamlead Niek van Breederode about why it is so special to work in the Infrastructure department at TNO.
What do you want to do?
You work a lot in projects on a daily basis. And you act as an important link between customers and the management organization. You translate user requirements into flexible and manageable IT systems and services. You take into account requirements, guidelines, GDPR and management standards.
You consult with colleagues from the security, architecture and management departments. And you fulfill an operational role in developing, building, testing and validating new IT services. In some cases, this means some form of software development. You are also responsible for good documentation.
The infrastructure is hybrid on-premise and cloud (Azure). With all the complexity it entails for management, security and identity.
As Solution Architect IAM, you are part of the Infrastructure team. The team consists of approximately 30 professionals. They are mainly engaged in developing and maintaining infrastructure services. Think server and storage systems, LAN and WAN connections and workstations. In addition to the Infrastructure team, there is an Application Management team. They focus on handling applications. The infrastructure and application management teams both fall under the internal service provider (ISP) and work closely together.
How will you contribute to the world of the future? How big can your influence be? Come and work at TNO and see for yourself.
